The Beta Cell Bash, a night of art, music and fundraising for the Indiana chapter
of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) will take place on Saturday evening,
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. at the New Day Meadery Gallery with an art show/silent
art auction and moves across the street to Radio Radio where 14 bands will take the
stage starting at 8 p.m. and continuing throughout the night.
The Beta Cell Bash was founded in 2004 by Michael Schwab, Greg and Tracie Mrakich.
Both Greg and Michael are musicians with Type 1 Diabetes. Their goal was (and continues
to be) to raise awareness and money through music and art to improve the lives of
those affected with Type 1 Diabetes.
